Sean McDowell Claims There's No Reason Without God

Content of the Lesson: Dr. Sean McDowell has said that there is no reason without God existing. Basically, he claims that the only reason why we can justify reason itself is that God exists. Therefore Atheism, Darwinism, and evolution are unable to ground reason in reality. This is ridiculous of course. We can naturally ground reason in reality by the fact that it's an emergent property of a sufficiently evolved mind. This explains why we see other organisms exhibiting their use of reason. Also, the idea that because God is reasonable and God created us in his image therefore we are reasonable doesn't make sense. In this scenario, I would expect us to all reason our way to the same conclusion. If God has perfect reasoning skills would we not also get this perfect reasoning skill? I guess maybe he'd explain it with the fall of man? But that doesn't really help his case because then Adam and Eve didn't have the same quality of Reasoning as god does. It's an odd argument for this issue.
