I Can't Believe Mike Winger Said THIS About Numbers 31

Numbers 31 is always going to be a difficult passage for any apologist and how they handle this passage says more about them than it does about God. We all know how horrible God is in Numbers 31 but Mike Winger considers this act of stealing young girls as elevating their privilege to a servant or wife. Mike doesn't seem to understand that forced marriages and servitude are never a good thing and that consent in these issues is the most important criterion. The fact that the woman's consent is not mentioned anywhere in any of these instances means that Abrahamic religions are built off the forced subjugation of women.
