Today on the Daily Bible Podcast, we are going to hear the origin story of Jesus as prophesied by Jeremiah. Jerry has been hearing the Judaeans and Israelites complaining a lot about being captives. In order to silence their needless complaining, Jerry issues three diatribes. Two of them describe the coming of Jesus as being the descendent of David. They say he will be a branch of David and there will always be a descendent of David on the throne of Israel. Also, God will always appoint a person to sacrifice goats to him. The third diatribe is about rebuilding the Temple so everyone can just shut up about it.
