J. Warner Wallace Claims Biblical Slavery Was A Good Thing

Today we are going to be looking at a J. Warner Wallace video ( @Cold-Case Christianity with J. Warner Wallace ) where he makes the case that Biblical slavery was actually a good thing. He totally ignores the chattel slavery that the Israelites took part in and only focuses on the indentured servitude that was known as debt slavery. Even on indentured servitude, he seems to get basic things wrong. He thinks that indentured servants were able to go free at any time but they weren't. Even if indentured servants had paid off their debt there were loopholes that would allow their masters to retain them indefinitely. He also compares biblical slavery to antebellum slavery. He claims they are completely different things when they really aren't.
