The Victorian press was breathless with horror and excitement at the brutal killings perpetrated by a man that came to be known as Jack the Ripper. Never found, he continues to haunt the British imagination to this day. As the investigation of a series of crimes in the infamous Whitechapel neighborhood slows down, Scotland Yard police receive a letter from the alleged killer who terrorized London in 1888. The popular press is shaping the evil figure of "Jack the Ripper", the first serial killer in history.
