This region of Guyana that borders Suriname is only accessible by plane or canoe. Tropical medicine, infectious diseases linked to the humid environment and emergencies punctuate the daily life of general practitioner Cécile Rabille, who works at the Maripasoula health center and participates in visits to isolated Amerindian villages.
