Content of the Lesson: Meet two of Poland's oldest hippies: Juliusz (92) and Krystof (77) have been living on the shores of Lake Solina, in almost total isolation and surrounded by nature and animals, for decades. But life in the middle of nowhere is increasingly hard on their aging bodies.  Juliusz is tired. It has been raining for hours. Everything has become damp and cold in his hut - not at all good for the 92-year-old's old bones. But to survive in the wild, he has to move, as much as it hurts. At night, he heats up a few stones with his camping stove to warm his bed. His hut has neither a stove nor running water. But Juliusz is not thinking of giving up his life as a dropout. He feels comfortable here. The forest on the shores of Lake Solina is his kingdom and he is the king of the vagabonds. His neighbour Krzysztof (77) likes to visit him. While still in socialist Poland, he decided to live in nature. The two are united by a deep friendship. He tries to ignore the fact that Krysztof's hips and back are constantly aching. “Whoever wants to live here has to be able to work,” he explains. And he wants to stay here as long as humanly possible. A life in a retirement home is out of the question for him.
