Content of the Lesson: Today, Erika from @Gutsick Gibbon joins us to debunk @Genesis Apologetics' video about Homo Habilis. They have done this with other hominid species but I felt like I needed Erika's help for this one. Genesis Apologetics tries to represent human evolution in a linear fashion to attempt to suggest that evolution only ever results in a strict lineage from one species to another. While we can trace our lineage back in such a fashion that is not how evolution occurs. Multiple groups of organisms would be evolving alongside each other. They suggest that we should have many fossils and skeletal remains of homo habilis but they fail to take into account how unlikely fossils are to form.
