Content of the Lesson: Today, We have Cameron from @Capturing Christianity interviewing Lydia McGrew about "undesigned coincidences" in the New Testament that prove its reliability and authorship. This argument dates back to the late 18th century when William Paley first suggested that these "undesigned coincidences" prove that the Gospels were all written by their title authors and that they were eyewitnesses to the events that happened. They totally ignore the timeline in which the Gospels were written and the fact that they all copy off each other. In this section, she is using her "undesigned coincidences" to prove that the feeding of the 5000 miracles actually happened. She makes a logical jump to a conclusion that isn't supported by her evidence. John had definitely read Luke by the second century when the author of John was writing his Gospel.
