Content of the Lesson: Today, Gary Habermas gets the Pauline Creed completely wrong when he claims that Paul based on historical evidence. He argues for this by stating that Paul talked to Peter (Cephas) in Jerusalem a few years after becoming a Christian in order to get the historical information about Jesus. Paul did not care for grounding his faith in history. In fact, that is completely contradictory to what Paul believed and how he valued his status as an Apostle. You couldn't be an apostle and received your information about Jesus through human sources. That was not what an apostle was.
