William Lane Craig Claims Atheism Makes Life Absurd
Teacher or professor: Godless Engineer
Subject: Science, Politics
Content of the Lesson: Today we are going to look at William Lane Craig claiming that Atheism makes life absurd because if God doesn't exist then there is no meaning or purpose to life. He claims that If there is no God then life is meaningless and doesn't matter. This is implying a False Dichotomy surrounding whether God exists or not. There are other possibilities that exist. You can find meaning as an atheist. He also ends up suggesting a sort of Pascal's wager. That it's better to believe in God because God gives you meaning and purpose. He also gives you heaven after this life. Pascal's Wager is disproved by simply considering statistics. It's far more likely that no God exists rather than any single definition of god existing.
