Tide Pool Filming Tips | #DeepLook #Shorts
If you ever find yourself wanting to film at a tide pool – we hope these tips come in handy! Our intern Sean Cummings, a science and environment journalist who just earned his master's degree in Science Communication at the University of California, Santa Cruz in June, took a turn behind the camera and filmed our lead producer and cinematographer Josh Cassidy filming with Allison Gong, a marine biologist at UC Santa Cruz. They're zooming in on scaled wormsnails, a tiny gastropod found at Asilomar State Beach, using a special waterproof probe lens that allows them to get tight closeups underwater.
