In recent weeks, some 100,000 people have been evacuated from Mariupol, which has been hard hit by Russian shelling. But many civilians are injured trying to flee. The most seriously hurt are sent to Lviv in the west of the country, to treat their physical and psychological trauma. These images were shot on April 2 by our Ukrainian colleagues Nataliya Volosadtska and Orest Malkut for TSN 1+1.
