The only people truly destroyed are the ones that aren't obedient to God. So just stay strong and God will save you from the things he did to you. Job then responded to the response claiming that Illia didn't know what Job was going through and to stuff it. Then he gets on his knees and screams at the sky (because that's where God lives) "WHY GOD...WHY????" and then questions the need for this whole God-Man relationship.
