Content of the Lesson: Today we are taking a look at a video where Vocab Malone responds to "mythicist" objections and provides the worst evidence for a historical Jesus. He covers three mythicist objections but really only one of them is a mythicist objection. The first objection is that Paul thought of Jesus as only a celestial figure. We do make that claim but we do have evidence to support that claim. His response to the objection has already been covered on this channel. Then he seems to think an objection is the amount of time that passed between Jesus' life and when things were written down. We don't have a problem with that. Next is that Jesus was copied from Pagan Gods. I don't think he was directly copied from anything. I think there are certain attributes that were trending at the time that the Jews also included in their own Dying and Rising God savior deity. Then Vocab goes on to provide the absolute worst evidence for Jesus.
