Content of the Lesson: Today we are looking at Tim Barnett from @Stand to Reason defending the idea that life begins at conception. He's biblically and scientifically wrong though. Biblically there are multiple verses that consistently reaffirm that life begins at first breath instead of at conception. Tim only has implications that can be drawn from vague references. Scientifically he's still not correct because all he has is anecdotal opinions and not actual scientific evidence. I provide scientific studies that show that if you extend personhood to fertilized embryos then you would also have to extend personhood to all somatic cells.
