ARTE Documentary: Journeys to the North: Norway | ARTE Documentary

Teacher or professor: ARTE Documentary
Subject: Science
Content of the Lesson: Almost entirely covered by the Scandinavian Alps, Norway stretches along more than 1,700 kilometers. Its dramatic landscape was shaped by the ice that has formed and thawed over the past two and a half million years. In the west, in particular, the landscapes bear the mark of this country's tormented geological history, between mountain lakes with crystal clear water, prehistoric glaciers and trough valleys topped by vertiginous peaks. At the heart of the chain, the immense Hardangervidda plateau, the largest in Europe at Alpine level, is characterized by its tundra landscapes, interspersed with lakes, torrents and marshes. Available until the 29/11/2020 ARTE Documentary is here to tell you more about what’s going on in the world of culture and current affairs with powerful, refreshing and entertaining docs subtitled in English for our international fans.
