Content of the Lesson: Today, I'm debating Haden Clark of @Help Me Believe, on @Adherent Apologetics channel, about whether Paul believed in a Historical Jesus. Haden thinks Paul did believe in a historical Jesus and relies on basic historicist arguments to make his point. I present the minimal mythicist position which really only differs on one particular point. Whether Paul thought Jesus died on earth. Haden agrees that Paul considered Jesus to be a pre-existent celestial being before being made flesh and dying. Haden assumes that "archons of this aeon" means the Romans crucified Jesus but I present something that I feel is more plausible.
