Content of the Lesson: Today, Dan Patrick claims that only Jesus can defeat racism in this country. The state of the Texas education system is at an extremely low point when the Lt. Governor doesn't understand that a lot of the racism that we experience today was promoted and perpetrated by Religion. The OT has racism inherently in it when God separates his chosen people from everyone else. God tells his chosen people to ransack people of other nations. At the time, that might as well say " Attack other races for no reason." Jesus reinforces slavery with "Obey your masters." Dan Patrick doesn't even understand his own religion.
