Inside NASA's Psyche Mission to Study a Metallic Asteroid

Along the way, McCoy highlights the significance of studying a metallic asteroid and what it may be able to tell us about the formation of the solar system and our own planet. It’s the journey of a lifetime, and he didn’t want to miss it. Psyche is both the name of an asteroid orbiting the Sun between Mars and Jupiter — and the name of a NASA space mission to visit that asteroid, led by Arizona State University.
