Young Earth Creationism faces huge challenges when it comes to dinosaurs. They cannot doubt that they existed but they do have to rebrand them in different ways. Dragons are a common thing that YEC's attribute as references to dinosaurs. We all know that an asteroid, or group of asteroids, slammed into the earth 65M years ago causing an extinction event.
