Content of the Lesson: Coriolis and Eotvos Effects: What are they, what causes them and how do they affect aircraft and projectiles? NOTE: The mathematics here are simplified to the extreme, this is not a simple trig problem, it is a calculus problem. Here is why- An assumption was made that the full force of coriolis at 2000 yards held for the entire 2000 yards. That is untrue technically. Viewing coriolis with the analogy of the 'crosswind' during the first 100 yards of flight, the bullet had a crosswind of more or less zero, during the last 100 yards it was at 0.21 mph, with each 100 yards experiencing more an more cross wind until it reached the full 0.21 mph. Second, the bullet would slow, spending more time in the last 100 yards than the first, again increasing in time spent in each 100 yard segment from barrel to target. When all of this is factored in (please post a proper answer if you calculate one) the end result will be about 6-8 inches I suspect rather than 14. I used maximal numbers to illustrate the point (due north full difference in rotational speed) to demonstrate the maximum possible effect. Easter egg.
