Measuring Gravity and Rotation

Today we use the actual measurements from the Foucault Pendulum at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago to measure Gravity, Rotation of Earth and the Location of Chicago on the Globe (Latitude). The only other information we need is the length of the pendulum (available on line). These are simple measurements and by using basic math, we can get results that are within 1% of the standard, accepted values. All for the price of admission to the museum and a stopwatch.
