Working with the Telescope tonight

Tonight I am doing some asteroid research. I am live streaming it so you can see what I do. I'll be at it most of the night, starting with the moon, then looking around a bit, then the boring part starts where I take 3 hours of images of a patch of sky to be processed for asteroids tomorrow. Just before dawn we have a 5 planet alignment and we'll have a look at the planets live. That will be used in a later video. Enjoy- I'll be in the chat and occasionally on discord. Discord Link: https://discord.gg/nFf7EnMm8D Frequency of the ISS Repeater: 437.8 MHz https://www.amsat.org/amateur-radio-on-the-iss/ Current Location of the ISS: https://www.astroviewer.net/iss/en/index.php Range of detection is 2500KM, we will acquire the signal HIGHER (to the right of center) than 437.8 because the ISS is approaching us. When it 'passes station' it will be on the center frequency of 437.8. As it moves away the frequency will drop below (to the left of center). This is a demonstration of the doppler shift.
