The Return of Darkest Night I ARTE.tv Documentary
During the pandemic lockdowns, large cities around the world were much darker than usual, both due to the shutdown of commercial and industrial activities and limited public lighting. Although the lockdowns were relatively short, the results were immediate. Many insects and migratory birds had less light-related accidents and turtles came back to almost deserted beaches to lay their eggs.
