Four Feet High I 360 I Short Film

Four Feet High is a virtual reality narrative, following an Argentinian high school student's exploration of sexuality, life with disability and the role of diversity. It aims to revolutionise the representation of bodies on the screen. 17-year-old Juana wants to experience her first time. And her wheelchair is not going to stop her. Admitted to a new high school, she is just a regular teenager, barring the fact that she sees life from a height of four feet. She soon joins the fight for sex education at her new school, eventually becoming a spokesperson for it. Inspired by the experience of co-author and co-director Rosario Perazolo Masjoan, the series explores the diversity of bodies, consenting sexuality and finding one's place in the world. Four Feet High revolutionises the representation of "extraordinary" bodies on screen in intimate scenes that are both modest and sensual. Led by a great cast and featuring Marisol Agostina Irigoyen, Four Feet High aims to (re) think coming of age stories in a radically inclusive way. The 360 format also allows us to enter into Juana's imagination, from her torments to her hidden fantasies and plays with the format of storytelling itself.
