Live Telescope with Bob | 10 Meade

Well the skies will clear tonight and if the seeing Gods are with us we may catch a glimpse of the ISS in addition to our round up of deep sky objects. We'll use the sharpcap feature of 'live stacking' to try and get some detailed images. I took the image on the thumbnail tonight after setting up the telescope and testing it. Have some issues with the guiding camera, but that is no problem and mount guiding is good for 30 second exposures. Join me and let's explore the night together. UPDATE: While this is a good outline of getting a telescope up and running, unfortunately the high wind during the session spoiled many images. Worked with the wide field scope toward the end with the moon, but the unstable atmosphere distorted things. I was able to image 3 hours later and several are in the community section of the channel. Tonight's Targets will be: Let's just poke around the universe Info on the equipment: Optical Tube- Meade 10" SCT Mount- George Dudash LX200 Mount Finder and Guide- Optical Finder Scopes, Optical Guide Scope Cameras- ZWO294 (Main) and ZWO 120 on the guide scope Special Thanks to Judy, Ron and Rob for their exceptional support of the channel.
